Christmas 2009

Christmas was a blast this year! We really enjoyed how much Piper got into it. She loved singing Jingle Bells,The Chipmunks songs and watching The Grinch movie over and over again. I loved how she talked to Santa Claus and excitement in knowing he was coming to our house. On Christmas Eve I asked her if she wanted to write Santa a letter, she said yes and him what she wanted for Christmas and then drew a picture of him on the other side of the paper. I know this only because she asked me what Santa's hat looked like and asked me to draw it. On Christmas morning Piper came down to a full Thomas the train set and was so overwhelmed by the idea of having her own train set she didn't even see the presents under the tree! She was so excited that Santa came and wanted him to come every night after for about a week until her birthday came :) This Christmas reminded me of how special the holiday really is and I look forward to the many to come!Presents!

Crumland Farms with Friends

Several weeks ago we headed over to Crumland Farms to see how pizzas were made and to hang out with our friends. The kids had a great time seeing all the animals and playing on all the cool equipment turned into slides and such. Piper was super excited to see all her friends especially her best bud, Will. Piper will be super happy to hang out with all her friends again when we get back to Maryland!

I only captured a couple of pics of this whole event so I'm stealing from the camera queen, Angie ;)

Myrtle Beach Bike Week 2009

Our family vacation to Myrtle Beach this year was probably one of the best. Although the city was attempting to run all the bikers out this year, we had a great time with Piper being old enough to enjoy all the activities MB has to offer. I can't wait for our family vacation in the fall with the girls; the kids are going to have a great time together!
