Poo poo Potty

Piper has successfully poo pooed on the potty!!! She went to bed Saturday night after a long and irritating trip back from BWI (grr...when it takes 5 hrs to get to Hagerstown from Baltimore there are some real idiots on the road)...anyway after about 30 min of sleep I hear a "Mommmmmy" so I go upstairs and Piper's room smells a bit so I figure that she has poo pooed. Well I was wrong (it was just a fart), but Piper was trying to go and I asked her if she wanted to go poo poo on the potty she said yes and guess what...she went no problems at all! I think this is easier than peeing on the potty. Now anytime she goes poo poo and I ask her if she wants to go on the potty she says poo poo potty and goes with ease. I'm so proud of her...so proud I even took a picture of her first time, but will leave that for those who want to see it :o)

Happy Thanksgiving

I've been really behind on posting and I apologize; things have been really hectic and we've all been sick. We had a great Thanksgiving over at my Dad's house this year along with Miss Corie, Julie and Freddy. There was lots of great food and fun to enjoy. Piper had a great time playing in the leaves, swinging and eating apples off the ground...we figured she'd only play with the apples but she decided she wanted a bite. There aren't any pics of Piper enjoying her Thanksgiving dinner because we had to coax her to even eat mashed potatoes and apple sauce...boy she had no clue what she was missing out on! She found out that she loves pumpkin pie!! Since there aren't pics of my picky eater this year, please enjoy some from last year too ;o)

Pee Pee on the Potty

Our first successful pee pee on the potty that got a special picture! Although Piper has poo pooed on the potty once (a long time ago), and pee peed twice on the potty. I finally got her out of the bathroom quick enough to snap a picture before her hand went straight into the pee. It makes me so proud! I think she's finally getting the idea since this particular day I thought nothing was going to happen so I left the bathroom figuring she would follow, but instead she said I pee pee, sat down and tah dah pee pee came out. I only knew this because I heard the reward music being played. I am very proud of her, but will keep this whole potty training thing very slow so come spring I can put her in dresses and have an easy time. Right now, we have a whole issue with clothes being taken off so that doesn't make pee peeing on the potty easy, but with dresses they only need to be lifted up and therefore no issues!

Head Bump

Last week, Piper somehow managed to fall and hit her head on the trim of the door. It really scared both Arthur and I when we realized that she hit her head and a massive bump formed! After calling the doctors office, we were reassured that she's was going to be okay and found out if needed they make house calls for head traumas. The bump looks worse than it really was. Piper was up and running around after about 15 min although the running made her head hurt so we had to keep her still with some Blue's Clues. In later posts, you can see her bump heals very nicely.

She even got some of me playing with Piper which rarely happens since I'm the one always behind the camera!

Happy Halloween

Happy Belated Halloween!  We all headed over to Angie and Beth's development to trick or treat with Katie and Piper's man Will.  We had some pizza and wings to fuel us for the evening ahead.  The kids were excited to get outside and run around, but I think Katie was the only one who got the idea of getting candy.  Piper did well with going house to house after the first house when Daddy assured her that there was nothing to be afraid of.  Piper was super excited about the lollipops and peanut butter cups!  Thanks Aunt Angie, Aaron and Will for the invite and great time!

Delays

I apologize about the lack of pics being posted. My fabulous camera is out of order for indoor/dark shots since it seems that the flash is broken (due to Piper grabbing the camera off the counter when I'm not looking and it hitting the ground) . So, when I figure out how to fix that I will start posting again, but til then the pics will be limited.

Pumpkin Picking

I have finally began to post again!

Fall is my favorite time of year.  The weather is just perfect.  The trees are colorful and gorgeous.  So many holidays and festivities to enjoy,  it is just a great time of year.  To start out the season, we went to Jumbo's Pumpkin Patch a couple of weeks ago. We had so much fun playing around on the farm, checking out the animals, going on a hayride and most important Picking Pumpkins!!! I had a difficult time choosing pics for this one so there are quite a bit..
