Our first weekend in NC just happened to be Easter, it was upsetting to not be spending a holiday with family, but we made the best of it. We had Julie staying with us for the week, which made it feel a bit better. I wanted to find some fun stuff for us to do and I happened to find an Easter Egg Hunt at Historic Latta Plantation. This place is huge and there are a ton of things to do. We had a lot of fun with the egg hunt even though it rained cats and dogs the day before, which made the grass very mushy. Piper got to see the Easter Bunny, get a tattoo and collect eggs full of candy! It is definitely a place I would like to take Piper back to explore more.
